You can sign up for an ESWD public user account if you:

would like to access up to 25 reports at a time for non-commercial use, without being limited to reports from the last week; or
would like to submit severe weather reports to the ESWD.

Please note that:

CSV download/export and access to larger datasets are not available for public user accounts. If you need access to more than 25 reports at a time, require a larger data extract, or intend to use ESWD data for commercial or professional purposes, please fill in this online form or contact us at eswd@essl.org;
bulk downloading of ESWD data and the submission of fake reports are not permitted. Accounts used for such purposes may be suspended without notice;
registration requests must be submitted in English. Requests submitted in other languages will be declined;
registration requests must be complete and contain clear and meaningful information, including a valid name and a sufficiently detailed description of the intended use. Incomplete, unclear or obviously invalid requests may be declined;
all registrations are reviewed manually by the ESWD team. As ESSL is a non-profit research organisation with limited staff resources, please allow up to 7 working days for your request to be processed.

Thank you for your understanding.
